Features

  • Wide Voltage range 10 - 65 V
  • Fused and Transient protected
  • High Reliability
  • Simple User interface
  • Multiple signalling options available.

Basic Operation

Solar Converters Inc. Over Voltage Alarm is a simple alarm circuit that has user adjustable setpoints and warns the user when the voltage applied to it is over the specified limit. Usually used to signal over voltage of a battery.

The High Voltage Alarm monitors the incoming voltage that is powering it and it is set up to monitor goes over the setpoint. The alarm ceases when the voltage it is monitoring goes below its setpoint.

Features

  • Single unit 12, 18, 24, 36 and 48 V operation
  • Easy to set-up, setpoints have a 1/10 th. scale factor. To set 12 V, set the setpoint to 1.2V

Alarm types

LED:
A red LED on the unit is lit when the HV alarm condition is present.

Audible Beeping:
A 80 dba piezeo alarm within the unit beeps approx. once per 2 seconds to signal a HV alarm condition

Open collector transistor:
(200ma 75 V)

Optional Form C relay (HVA-2C model):
A form C relay contacts (normally open, common, and normally closed) are available to operate and signal alarm response equipment
