Introduction:

Many of our Power Tracker(TM) charge controllers with MPPT have integral low voltage disconnects and remote on / off capability of the load i.e. Float Switch Control.

When connected into the system, the pump connects to the load terminal, the battery connects to the battery terminals and the PV connects to the PV terminals. Anything like a float switch that shorts the remote shutdown terminals shuts off the pump.

These units feature maximum power point tracking and can operate to charge the battery from higher voltage panels.
